Spotlight Cliffjumper Cover Lineart

Motto: "A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination."
Weapon: Sniper Rifle
Deviantart- Robby Musso has shared the uncolored lineart to his version of the Transformers Spotlight Cliffjumper cover.

If memory serves, this is supposed to be a tale that supports the current series 'All Hail Megatron'.

Now for the really important question: Who are the Decepticons in the near background of the picture? Ideas can be discussed below.

Check out the Mr. Musso's Deviant Art page here, and the downloaded art below. This issue is due out sometime in the summer, wrapping up the AHM loose ends.

The whole cover is making me think "The girl who loved Cliffjumper."

But more seriously, the Con in the background reminds me of Drift in his helmet. We've speculated on other threads that Drift may have been a Decepticon, and this would provide an explaination, but a Seeker? This gets better and better. If this is the case, then maybe it will also shed more light on the Insecticon experiments, which some of us have thought were done on Seekers. It would also further cement the Insecticon/Seeker rivalry.
In a place such as this, you are the perfect prey for a brest animal!

Robby has his **** locked down! That's a fantastic cover. The art is like a million times better then that of the last AHM. I already miss Guido...

Gorgeous! I love that both the bots and the humanoid beings are drawn consistently well instead of more detail being given to one group versus the other.

I thought this too. It's hard not to.

Good theories about the cons.

Do the Decepticons remind anyone else of three of the Decepticons that made up Liokaiser in Transformers: Victory?

They certainly do not look like Leosack, Hellbat and Guilehawk (Gaihawk), and neither from any Micromaster Air patrols; But maybe they could be the Skyscorchers or the Decepticon Predators in their Cybertronian modes, maybe....
