Huh? That's impossible. The music used was just release late last year (2006). Is there something dated wrong or something I missed?

and i was one of many against the new look of our most beloved robots. but i will admit the clips iv seen look great but they still took to much of what made this a possibilty out with out g1 this film would not exsist. bay could have at least took more care in there look..
i just hope films 2&3 robots improve in looks ie a little bit more g1ish and no more insect heads

Bit bulky robots is a little too cartoony for me. Luckily I grew up with Beast Wars so organic looking robots (talking about the Transmetals) sort of fit quite well. This video shows us what could've been, and maybe I'm too used to the new movie guys to like is as much as I might've.

Seems to be. The site he links to has the video labeled as being released in April 2004. Guess he typed 4 instead of 7. In the words of Optimus Prime "My bad".

Thanks Michael Smith for making the truest "transformers live action movie" we will ever get...a ten second clip.
PrimulArchangel wrote:you want G1 movies watch robot chicken lol .The toys are cool but the movie bots are a million times better. There is no way to make a toy as complex as the movie robots lol , if they did its would probably cost like 2 grand lol, and i myself would not want to try and transform it lol.. None of these toys are geared towards collectors this is why you wont see complex toys, they're made for kids. The're are more kids out there then collectors and hasbro is going to target them before a collector lol. Collectors get the masterpiece series , thats about it ...
If they made a movie using the style this guy used in this home made thing, i honestly would not go see the movie because it would be like every other clone of G1 that hs been released as cartoons.. I cant believe people are not sick of seeing the same junk over and over.. G1 was great yeah but that was the 80's man, got to wake up its 2007.. G1 is history let grandpa retire in peace and let the new come in and take over.. Im a G1-er from the beginning and im glad they did what they did to all the robots in the movie.

They would have to modify the material in the face a bit though. That is the only thing really holding it back from total 3D 'in our world' kind of appearence.
But still, this is a great start to show what could have been done and then developed for the movie.
Hollywood does NOT know best! If they did, they never would have tried to give Superman a Black leather suite and have him live in outer space using his belt as a sword weapon! :puke Glad that movie never got made!
