Level 0

Postby Jason_Tyler » Sun Aug 15, 2010 6:56 pm

I want to start by saying that I'm not trying to create a complaint thread.

Level Zero is such a tedious grind to get up to Level 1. :BANG_HEAD: I'm not saying the rest of the levels are amazing and easy, but everything gets much more exciting once you reach that first real level.

Different mission dynamics, wider level gaps, all that fun stuff.

So to any new people out there like me, keep at it because Level 0 can be repetitive at times, but reaching level 1 makes it that much more worth it. :APPLAUSE:

Never mind reaching level 1, I remember both times I was level 0, thinking I'd never get that first stat lol.

Ah, it's not all that bad. At least, I don't find it to be all that bad... lol

While it can be pretty brutal at times, it becomes far less painless when your fellow 'Cons back you up. Even at level 0, you can rake in a modest amount of xp if things fall in your favour.

Even though I only have one level 0 'Con, I'll do my best to back you up in missions (and to support you in general, of course).

I still have half my 'Bots at level 0. I find it fun to have them pretty much spread out as far as levels are concerned. This way you have much more to choose from. I would suggest maybe focusing on your top bots for a while to push them to level 1 this way you will have more to choose from as well. Up to you tho :)

yeah, it is pretty cool when you have team mates

but I really wish the bots were more active in my level.
sure, they might kick the tar out of me sometimes, but it's WAY more fun when there's someone to fight with

Because I was active when the game was reset, I barely lasted a month or so in level 0. When *EVERYBODY* is level 0, level 0 xp is good.

Now, now I'm about 2kxp from not having anybody bellow level 4.

I've said this before, but Level 0 seems to be spread into two timezones. The Autobots play by daytime EST, and aside from a 3-6pm stint, do so unhindered, and usually around Midnight, as I'm heading to bed (or should be), I'm alone and up to my armpits in Decepticreeps.

When did an Autobot last make a funny on these forums?

I think that may be an interesting psychological study - the time differences between people that play as Decepticons or Autobots, and how that may or may not relate.

Being Australian, I usually play HMW when most of the world is tucked into bed. Not the best time to play, but it's basically the only time I can afford the game a few solid hours.

I still contest that HMW is a shattered Glass universe

general consensus is the cons on the forums are the more friendly "team oriented" players while the bots are the quite "every man for themselves" type

and while everyones talkin about soon to be levels, Swindle is currently 343,247 xp away from bein the first level 8. should have that in about a week if play my missions right

Have to agree with my team playing in the Shattered Glass Universe, considering my ow team (hey, I have The Fallen on my team!).
As Burn is always saying, the 'Cons are the friendly, cootchy cootchy, 'you scrub my back, I'll scratch yours' faction, while the 'Bots are the 'every bot for himself and Primus for us all' kind of faction.

Sadly I would have to agree with this as well...to an extent. Being that there are more 'Cons in the forums it does lead to them communicating more. The 'Bots on the other hand hardly have a presence here, not sure about Iacon since I don't have access. But until more 'Bots get into the forums and prove the 'Cons wrong it will always look that way, IMO. I only wish I knew how to get them in here to have the kind of fun I have in here.

I'd like to report a guy. He goes by the name of "Nobody". He doesn't back up any of the 2 level 0 con teams I've seen in the last two days, but he's in nearly EVERY mission I'm in, even consecutively, for the last two days. And he doesn't even DO anything. Not that I don't mind free XP, but seriously, something should be done! We must have sacrifces for my guns!
[/joke]

Seriously, I'm beginning to almost feel bad for Ashes and Jason_Tyler, the entirety of the Autobot academy using them for paper-airplane targets on their own. Not that I'll do anything about it, but I wanted to acknowledge my Autobot contience. That done, I can go back to gang scrapping them when they come out of the CR.
