Maybe I'm just unable to accept such a baffling decision, I'd honestly rather sacrifice ankle articulation if it means gaining proper arm articulation. We've lived years without ankle tilts in TFs, so I have no idea why they went with no bicep swivel. A shame since I personally really enjoy how the figure looks otherwise.

Looks like they couldn't do a bicep swivel, so they gave him a swivel at the forearm

The fingers on Cannon Prime are basically top of the line masterpiece tier for Takara it made me laugh out loud actually. Very cool but odd focus for the engineering imo

That's the great thing about collecting, we all have our guidelines and does it for his/her own reason.

For me, I found at least 1 reason to not get each and every one of these, so I won't. I was back and forth on the Stunticons, but the robot mode on Dead End is a failure in my view, and for some reason until now it didn't sink in how horribly the split car mode looks on Menasor. I guess with Dragstrip it didn't look as bad? It's too bad because I think Motormaster was done very well.

Blanker is a disappointment, I guess with the recent battlemasters I got spoiled a bit, because I think that targetmaster looks almost like an unmolded piece of plastic next to what we've been getting. I might get him and just give him a battlemaster. I have 2 versions of Pinpointer.

If I get a Starscream from MPM, it'll be the previous one. There's nothing wrong with this one per se, I just prefer the gray deco.

And the camera is just WTF. I guess photographers can be TF collectors too. The fact that they didn't use Reflector just adds to the WTF factor. (Yes, I know Prime is the most popular and recognizable, blah blah blah...)

Starscream - Outstanding! I really don't want to buy this figure a second time, but it's going to be hard to resist!

Canon Prime - Visually disappointing, but also an engineering disappointment since it appears to be a partsformer. The arms are in the lens and I can't find any way for them to get to the sides of the body without taking the lens apart and popping them on and sticking the end onto the chest. Total fail, can't wait to see what they're charging for this.

Dead End - Looks great all around. The feet don't bother me and they are technically both G1 toy and cartoon accurate.

Blanker - I can't believe this is the best they could do and the only Deluxe option we're left with after the Decepticon Targetmasters were done so well. I can't believe they really had to sacrifice this much just to get a three part partner packed in there. In all honesty, if what it took to give us a quality, fully articulated, properly proportioned and free of gaps with a partner on par with the previous Battlemasters figure was to do him as a Voyager I would have HAPPILY paid the price for him to be done right. I'll go as far as to say this is the single biggest Transformers letdown of the last 5 years.

The big difference between Drag Strip and Dead End is Drag Strip's alt mode is flatter/not as high as Dead End. So when attached to Menasor his flatter profile adds a little bit of bulk to Menasor's arm whereas Dead End adds TOO MUCH bulk.

I would guess too that Drag Strip is longer than Dead End as when Menasor's arm is straight, DE's halves are pretty much flush whereas DS is a little shorter leaving that massive gap between upper and lower arms.

It's massively off-putting and disappointing given how well Menasor started off.

It looks like the lens detaches, the whole thing then hinges apart to produce the chest, head, arms and back thing. This would presumably then reattach to the front of the camera, and fit over the top.

Boy oh boy, so many people complaining over Optimus not being Reflector, while I'm over here cackling over the fact that there IS a Reflector version.

The Reflector toy also has some Binaltech/Alternity lore to it. That's a Quantum Dial that he comes with.

It turns out there is not one but TWO Canon Transformers crossover figures. We saw Prime already and now we see Reflector. While Optimus Prime will be non exclusive (and can currently be preordered on Amazon Japan), Reflector is a TTMall exclusive. Fans in the west will still be able to get him through online collector stores but he will probably be more expensive than Prime. We'll know when the preorders come out soon.

Canon Reflector comes with his own special accessories like a version of his G1 self that can split into three and a quantum dial which he can insert into his camera lens chest.

Neither camera is functional. Below are images of the reveal along with a video.

Even if Reflector is by his lonesome, he make much, MUCH more sense as a character than Optimus.

That's the one I'd get if it's not some sort of hard to find exclusive.

A WAY more likely buy than OP. Reflector's an army builder, so I can buy as many of him as I want, right? Right!

And that, my friends, is how you do a proper crossover. Shame we never retroactively got a Vector Prime out of the G-Shock Collab.

And now all you Binaltech/Alternity collectors out there have to get this Reflector too, since he comes with a Quantum Dial that's an important part of the Binaltech/Alternity lore.

Both look terrible. Siege Reflektor 3-pack was the best update so far, in my opinion.

It's not wrong, they're just going for Pointblank's American G1 Season 4/Marvel appearance instead of his more common toy and Headmasters appearance unfortunately

It's his Marvel Comics head, which is different to the toy head or cartoon head entirely.



Don't think he'll get the Impactor treatment and get different releases with different heads though.

To me Canon Prime makes absolutely zero sense, thus am not interested. Reflector on the other hand does but it's too bad it's an Exclusive I might have bought it.
