Profile: In an army dominated by the ground bound, Breakaway stands out as an Autobot with flight capabilities. Not only that, but in a straight line, there aren't many fliers that keep up with him. In battle he uses this to his advantage, dispensing with any aerial acrobatics, and simply relying on bombing runs at super-sonic speeds to get the job done.

As a young Autobot flier, Breakaway idolizes the Aerialbots, and dreams of one day being good enough to join their team. This often leads to him showing off or taking on more than he can handle in an effort to impress his superiors and those around him. After all, impress the right bots, and who knows…

Abilities: Breakaway is an exceptional flier, capable of streaking past conventional jets at speeds of up to Mach 3, and can even reach escape velocity if flying fast enough. While he is able to hold his own in an aerial dogfight, Breakaway’s most known tactic is flying overhead and bombing the enemy below, sacrificing accuracy for firepower. He is capable of carrying more bombs and explosives for special missions, but rarely does so because it tends to slow him down and adds unnecessary weight and mass.

Weaknesses: Breakaway is fastest when flying in a straight line- making sharp turns or fancy acrobatics requires him to slow down and reveal how clumsy he really is when made to fly in such ways. He doesn’t care to take the time to line up shots or aim his weapons, preferring to unload all his firepower at the target and hope to get a few good hits in, so his rifle is reserved for special missions where stealth and accuracy are required. Breakaway is often brash and fast-acting, putting the safety of himself and others behind his personal dreams and ambitions. When made to slow down and think, however, Breakaway shows that he has a good spark and really just yearns for acceptance.
